Here are my Bind patches for Fedora 6.

It appears that Fedora 8/9 (not sure about 7) are not affected by this issue.

I’m working on a new website called For The List.Â It’s a very cool idea proposed to me by a co-worker / friend.Â The site will be essentially a digital collection of records.Â The records on the site will all be user created (of course with some moderation).Â Users will be able to post videos of records they break, and other users can try and break those records with their own video proof.Â Anyone anywhere will be able to submit any record (no adult content please 😉 ).

If you’re interested, please check out http://www.forthelist.com , we’re looking for initial records to start the site off, so if you’re reading this, and you’re bored.Â Please do *anything* that could be remotely considered a records and email it to [email protected] with either the video attached, or a youtube link or some such proof.

Ladies and Gentlemen, if you don’t know something or how to do something it’s okay to say “I don’t know” or “can you please help me”.Â Please don’t attempt to *fix* something in the network on your own, because nine times out of ten you’re only going to make the problem worse and make a much longer harder job for someone (me).

So here’s to the people who actually ask for help *raises glass*

Alkaline Trio – Agony & Irony

Yet again another band surprises me this year, Alkaline Trio‘s new album ‘Agony & Irony’ has turned out to be a pretty good listen, it’s definitely on the lighter side of rock … emoish than I normally prefer however, these guys have been around for a long time and it’s definitely a catchy album.

Good job guys, and to all the other bands that have been infusing my mp3 player with new tracks that I was sorely missing in 2007 🙂
